FUNDRAISING FOR THE PAVILION REDEVELOPMENT

BIDBOROUGH BONANZA - 6TH SEPTEMBER 2025

The Bidborough Bonanza will take place in a matter of weeks and as with all community events we would very much like your help in making this day a success.

Our initial plea is for contributions for the various stalls that are being run as detailed below:

Chocolate or sweets for the tombola

Bottles for the tombola

Raffle prizes

Any of the above can either be collected from you or dropped off at either the Village Store or at 91 Bidborough Ridge at anytime prior to the event.

If you are able to give any time on the day to help run a stall, marshall, serve drinks, set up or clear up then please let us know by emailing karen@bidboroughpc.org.uk / bidboroughpavilion@gmail.com / friendsofbidborough@gmail.com.

Anything you are able to contribute will be most gratefully received.

ABOUT OUR PARISH

Bidborough is situated about five miles from Tunbridge Wells (click here to view map) and has a population of approximately 970. The village has a primary school, a church, a pub and restaurant, a garage and a shop. It also has a village hall that is very well used by many clubs and societies including the dramatic society, woodland group, nursery group, W.I., gardening society, brownies and badminton.

The Parish Council has been running for over 125 years and holds in trust the Arthur Nicholson Recreation Ground.  This provides sports and recreation facilities including cricket, tennis, bowls and play areas for younger and older children.

The services the Council provides to the community include overseeing the maintenance of Birchwood and Brookhurst Field and the issue twice yearly of the Parish magazine.   The Parish has been active in initiating projects like the Village of the Year competition, Speedwatch, Neighbourhood Watch and Bidborough in Bloom.
