Welcome to Bidborough Parish Council

Bidborough is situated about five miles from Tunbridge Wells (click here to view map) and has a population of approximately 970. The village has a primary school, a church, a pub and restaurant, a garage and a shop. It also has a village hall that is very well used by many clubs and societies including the dramatic society, woodland group, nursery group, W.I., gardening society, brownies and badminton.

 The Parish Council has been running for over 125 years and hold in trust the Arthur Nicholson Recreation Ground. This provides sports and recreation facilities including cricket, tennis, bowls and play areas for younger and older children.

The services the Council provides to the community include overseeing the maintenance of Birchwood and Brookhurst Field and the issue twice yearly of the Parish magazine.

The Parish has been active in initiating projects like the Village of the Year competition, Speedwatch, Neighbourhood Watch and Bidborough in Bloom.
